Southeast Amateur Radio Association is dedicated to bringing together radio enthusiasts in SouthEast, Georgia. Our mission is to foster a vibrant community where members can learn, share, and grow their passion for amateur radio. SARA is located in Southeast GA and was created for anyone that has an interest in Amateur radio. The SARA club meets weekly on Monday night at 20:00 hrs on 147.000+ PL 156.7, anyone wishing to join in is welcome.
In addition to the club net we meet on the 2nd Thursday night at 6:00 pm at Bevrick’s in Metter for food, fun and fellowship and yes these are also official business meetings. You do not have to be a member to attend.
While SARA is affiliated with the ARRL, ARES and Skywarn, we are more about Fellowship than Formalities and just enjoy getting together on and off the air and sharing in a common interest. Come join us when you can.
